GAC objectives as registered by the Registrar of Companies in the Province of Alberta, on the 19th day of January, 1977

1. To maintain a lawful, benevolent, non-profit organization for Goans.
2. To promote and preserve the culture and traditions of Goans.
3. To foster a better understanding of the history of Goans, in Canada
4. To provide for the recreation of the members and to promote and afford opportunity for friendly, social and sports activities.
5. To acquire land, by purchase or otherwise, erect or otherwise provide a building for achieving the objectives of the Association.
6. To affiliate, support and cooperate with other Goan and other organizations with similar objectives.
7. To provide information and assistance to incoming Goans.
