At GAC, our strength has always come from our sense of community—and now, we’re taking that connection one step further.
We’re excited to announce the launch of a new Service Subcommittee, created to bring our members closer together through meaningful acts of giving.
Led by Cheryl Wilms, this initiative is all about turning kindness into action and creating opportunities for every member, of every age, to contribute in ways that feel fulfilling, doable, and impactful.
The goal is simple:
To build a stronger GAC by supporting one another—through service, connection, and heart.
Whether you have an hour to spare each month or just enough time to jump in on a seasonal project, your efforts will matter. Maybe you love organizing, cooking, teaching, driving, planning, or just being there when someone needs an extra hand. Whatever your strengths, we believe there’s a place for you here.
Why Join the Service Subcommittee?
Build friendships across generations
Make a difference in the lives of fellow members
Set a beautiful example for our youth
Discover the joy of giving back
Help shape the next 50 years of GAC
This is more than volunteering—it’s about strengthening our roots and growing forward together.
